President & Founder
Nick is a communications strategist focused on helping brands protect and enhance their reputations and respond to challenges that arise in the public policy arena and through the course of conducting business. He has counseled senior leaders in government, business, nonprofits, and at organizations such as Harvard Business School, MIT, Bank of America, and Lloyd’s of London. Prior to founding Comsint, Nick worked as a Senior Vice President for corporate communications and issues management at Weber Shandwick, where he managed high-profile client assignments. Examples of his work include the Boston Athletic Association’s response to the marathon bombings, and a corporate restructuring at one of the world’s leading life science brands. Nick has extensive public affairs experience and has served as an elected and appointed government official.

Media Strategist
Kate has more than 15 years of experience creating communications strategies for clients across a variety of industries that generate targeted media results in top-tier, national, and local business and trade press. A seasoned storyteller, Kate works closely with her clients to provide strategic counsel, internal, executive, and crisis communications strategies, media relations activities, and more, that align with business goals and priorities. Prior roles include Head of Communications at IEX Group, Inc., Executive Vice President of Communications and Head of Public Relations at FiComm Partners, Director of Public Relations at Monster, and Director at Weber Shandwick. In these roles she has worked on a variety of communications programs, including thought leadership platforms for businesses and their executives, leadership transitions, corporate restructurings, product launches, surveys, and investor reports, among others.

Crisis and Issues Management Counsel
Peter is a lawyer, crisis manager, and former veteran journalist for the Boston Globe with extensive experience advising companies, organizations, and individuals facing reputational threats that often arise from intense public scrutiny. He has provided crisis management counsel to clients on a wide range of issues, among them: state and federal probes; whistle-blower cases; corporate litigation; CEO, senior leadership, and employee issues; product recalls, SEC inquiries; sexual misconduct allegations; false information on social media; and newspaper investigations – in sectors including healthcare, higher education, biotech, technology, financial services, the arts, and philanthropy. Peter also conducts audits designed to assist clients in identifying vulnerabilities that carry reputational threats and aids in development of response plans to ensure they have the processes in place to effectively respond to and mitigate reputational matters.

Media Relations and Executive Positioning Strategist
Bill is a former Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist who focuses on media relations, grassroots strategies, and strategic or crisis communications. His past clients include Constellation Energy, Honeywell, and General Motors. He previously served as a partner at 212 Communications and as a Senior Vice President at Weber Shandwick. Prior to his 15 years in public relations, Bill spent 21 years as a reporter. He served as a business columnist at the Baltimore Sun, where he wrote a twice-weekly column that tracked the personal dimensions of top executives of Maryland corporations, and before that as an editor at American Banker and a number of other business publications. He has appeared on CNBC’s “American Greed.”
